Legendary Snake Snake Snake
Chris (Vocals and Guitar) and Kev (Banjo, Melodica, Vocals) first played together in rowdy ska-punkateers Bucket where they shared their love of cider, road movies and celebrity baiting. After a few years it was felt that perhaps they were ‘too old’ for punk and they turned their attention to the next logical musical step for white trash: country. Kev picked up a banjo and having long been fans of Johnny Cash, they began playing some of his songs along with other country and bluegrass numbers before beginning to work on their own compositions. They named the band after a variation on the snakebite drink (instead of cider and beer, three different ciders together).... See MoreSee Less

Davey Malone from Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs + Jake Martin
With his unique combination of Bareknuckle Folk, Acoustic Punk, and Comedy, Davey Malone has fast become an underground legend. Blending originals and quirky re-worked covers, he can tailor his vocal style to suit, be it a raucous tongue in cheek punk number or a heart rending melancholic ballad, the audience just go with him on his roller-coaster ride of styles and emotions. His gigs are interspersed with audience interaction, jokes and anecdotal stories of his colourful career... Over the years Davey has performed in Australia, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Holland, Greece, Portugal, and at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury, Beautiful days, Larmer Tree, Trowbridge, and Cambridge Folk Festivals, and has played alongside such names as Mark Chadwick (the Levellers), Steve Knightley (Show of Hands), Benji Kirkpatrick (Bellowhead), Dan Donnelly (The Wonderstuff), Gaz Brookfield, and Atilla the Stockbroker. Currently residing in Rochester and performing gigs across the country either solo or with his band the Longtails...
"A folk-punk phenomenon, a dark and dodgy dealer in high tragedy, comedy and sparkling morality. He'll have you laughing, weeping and thinking things you won't want to mention in polite company. Blending powerful political folk numbers with comic ditties, Davey seizes the crowd's attention with witty quips and anecdotes of his colourful career. Commanding the stage with charisma and talent both, he delivers entertainment in spades" - The Good Gig Guide.
"Beautifully written songs with many tales to tell, delivered in a formidable all acoustic style. Folk Punk at its best. The sound of the Medway Delta as defined by Davey Malone and the Longtails" - Toby Barelli aka King Size Slim.
"Davey Malone and the Longtails are a loveable bunch of rogues whose music will bring you tales of skull duggery, romance and daring do that seamlessly combines the nostalgic whiff of lost England with the mysticism of Tolkien's middle earth. Fantastic and utterly captivating." - Mat Partner aka Howling Mat
"Davey Malone reminds me of the past in a half remembered way, like a gentleman of the road some how connected to a fictional but comforting past" - Mark Chadwick, The Levellers
"Davey Malone is an expert at playing to the audience and as a result the performance always seems fresh" - The Sound of Summer Gig Review.
"Davey Malone - one man, one guitar, a million laughs and maybe a few tears. Davey has it all. Totally entertaining and totally hilarious...I love his shows!!!" - Steve Mitchell, The Leylines
"Davey Malone is a sheer powerhouse of raw energy. He can make you laugh, he can make you cry and he will make you think. Utterly captivating to watch, his original material ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous, and like an Uncle Joe’s Mint Ball, his inimitable delivery will leave you all a-glow." - Scott Doonican, The Barsteward Sons of Val Doonican...
