The Wyndham Arms pub football team has had a very successful season narrowly missing out on promotion – Well done lads.
Leggy’s skittle team beat Rob’s old pub team home and away and won the league cup this year. Leggy’s team qualified to stay up this year, magnanimously offer to go down due to teams dropping out and we are confident this year of some more silverware - Congratulations.
Dale Gosney has to be congratulated as he is the catalyst in bringing super-league darts to the Wyndham Arms for the first time starting this September.
Again on the darts front we are starting a new Monday night darts team instead of the friendly skittles league – A change is as good as a rest.
On the music front Ray Jones who thrilled us on Whitsun Bank Holiday is returning to the Wyndham Arms on Boxing Day 2008 – Guitar vocalist, one not to miss.
